Hi, I'm Chrashae...
I'm a wife, mommy and lover of Jesus. I'm also a little bit obsessed with birth.
Walking alongside a family as they work to bring forth new life is seriously such an honor and one of my favorite things in the world.
I've attended over 100 births and each one holds a special place in my heart. I'm humbled to be in that space each time. And...yes, I still cry when a baby is born.
My Why...
After the birth of my son in 2016, I became a Certified Birth Doula with DONA International. I've always grabbed a nearby phone to snap a few pictures for my doula clients; but I knew after having a Birth Photographer for my daughters birth, that this was something I HAD to do.
Capturing those precious moments is something so sacred. "Labor land" is a real place mamas go during labor and when it's all said and done, it can be a blur. One of the most important days in your life, the birth of your baby, shouldn't be a blur.
So Worth It...
We all know how quickly they grow; and if you don't know yet, you will!
Sometimes pictures are my escape from the bittersweet reality of my kids growing up. My husband and I look back at them often and we're so thankful to have them. A little hack at rewinding life, if even for a few moments.
And it starts with their birthday. The day they joined you earthside. I'd love to help you create lasting memories that you can reminisce on for years to come. You won't regret it.
